Mission & Vision

The mission of Journey Church is the same mission Jesus gave his followers: "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Mt 28:19). This mission of growing His kingdom for His glory is both through adding to His people and growing His people in faith and love as they follow this awesome Savior "to the praise of His glorious grace" (Eph 1:6).

Together we get to pray for each other, encourage each other, love each other, lift each other up, laugh with each other, strengthen each other, sharpen each other, share with each other, bless each other, and motivate each other to press on for the Lord.

We were not made to do this alone. We were made to live for Him and praise Him together!

The vision of Journey Church is to create a joyful community of authentic and passionate believers and to witness people getting transformed by the powerful life changing gospel, as people come to know their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Jesus guaranteed us and said "I will build My Church" (Mt 16:18) and together we get to be a part of it as He does exactly that. This promise and power is often seen through God using families to raise the next generation for His glory.  "We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the LORD, and His might, and the wonders that He has done." (Ps 78:4)

God has not called us for dullness. He desires our heart. Praise without joy is not much praise at all. Church should be exciting as we grow and follow the Lord together for His glory! He is our joy!
